As you zip around the Great Barrier reef, you’ll eventually come around and start heading south back toward the Whitsundays. We recommend you bring your swimming gear, as the water at the beach is really something else. Take a walk along the beach also. The sand on the beach is so incredibly milky and pure, you could almost eat it. We are not suggesting you do that though!
After you 90 minutes on the beach, you’ll jump back into the chopper and return back to the mainland at Airlie Beach for a safe landing. Lucky you, even the return destination is even awesome.
