Winery Helicopter Flight

– Lunch Not Included –

Become a celebrity for the day on our luxury winery helicopter flight and head out to Brisbane’s most luxurious winery. Sirromet winery offers a five star service with exceptional food and wine all made from local produce. Relax on the veranda over lunch and beautiful vineyard views or indulge on an informative wine tour; the choice is yours. Truly an experience of a life time.

Sirromet is a family owned and run winery situated at picturesque Mount Cotton, just a short drive from Brisbane and the Gold Coast, Sirromet’s state of the art facilities offers food and wine lovers the ultimate winery experience. Our story begun when Terry Morris, Queensland entrepreneur and businessman, was in Victoria attending a dinner party with friends. Terry mentioned that he had tried a great wine from Queensland’s Granite Belt to which his Victorian friends laughed and said “There’s no such thing as a great wine from Queensland.” This was the spark that Terry needed to create his vision for Sirromet. Terry chose land in the Granite Belt Region renowned for its unique combination of rich soil, high altitude and cool climate, providing the perfect location for growing grapes and in 2000 we opened our doors to the public. Utilising traditional methods and new technology, Sirromet produce exquisite quality wines recognised on the world stage. We are proud to have collected over 900 prestigious national and international wine awards to date.

During your trip to and from the Sirromet Winery Lunch, you’ll see:

What to Expect

1.Depart from Archerfield

Arrive at Archerfield airport approximately 30 minutes before your scheduled departure. (Further details will be emailed to you upon booking.)
After departing from Archerfield Airport, you’ll be heading towards Logan and over Underwood, where you’ll be facing directly towards the Gold Coast. On a clear day, you’ll have nice views of the ride parks, Southport, Surfers Paradise and South Stradbroke Island. Not a bad view, I’d say.

2.Mt Cotton

As you head closer to the coast, you’ll soon approach a very scenic Mt Cotton. Known for being right in the middle of a koala conservation area, Mt Cotton is home to some pretty special wildlife, which means you’ll see a get a good dose of forestry.

3.Lunch at the Sirromet Winery

Nestled amongst the Mt Cotton parklands is the Sirromet Vineyard, where you’ll be touching down for a 90 minute culinary experience. The Sirromet Winery restaurant is famous for its fine dining, and obviously great wines. Since opening their doors to the public in 2000, the Sirromet grapes have produced wines garnering over 900 prestigious national and international awards, so why not have a look around while you’re here? It can get a bit nippy up here during winter though, so it might be best to bring a jacket!

4.Return Trip Back to Archerfield

Great food, great wine, great service, great views. All good things must come to an end, unfortunately. At least you get to jump on board a chopper and be flown back to base. You can expect to see the Brisbane CBD from a distance here, providing it’s a clear day. Once you’ve touched back down at the airport, be sure to jump back on AirShare and book your next experience!
