1. Depart from Archerfield
Arrive at Archerfield airport approximately 15 minutes before your scheduled departure. (Further details will be emailed to you upon booking.)
From the airport, the journey begins heading northward, with views over Fig Tree Pocket and the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary.
Heading into Indooroopilly, you’ll have great views of the golf course and your first glimpse of ‘the brown snake’ – the Brisbane River. Also observable is the University of Queensland St. Lucia campus – the most populated university in Queensland!
3. Mt Coot-tha
So this is what you came here for, right? As you cruise over one of Brisbane’s ‘happening’ suburbs, Toowong – you’ll find yourself in the face of Mt Coot-Tha – one of Brisbane’s must-sees for both tourists and locals. Standing 287 metres above sea level, Mt Coot-Tha’s history-rich wonder will not disappoint, and as your journey turns back toward base, you’ll have arguably the best view of Brisbane money can buy.
Heading back toward base, you’ll make your way over Fig Tree Pocket and Jindalee. On the way, you'll have an aerial view over one of Brisbane’s best shopping centres – the DFO.
